Oolus Charitable Foundation (OCF)

1. Introduction

Oolus Charitable Foundation (OCF) values the generosity and trust of its donors. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which donation refunds may be requested and processed.

As a nonprofit charitable organization, OCF relies on donations to fund its programs and services. Therefore, refunds are handled with care and in accordance with this policy.

2. General Policy on Donations

  • All donations made to OCF are considered voluntary and non-refundable.
  • Donations are typically allocated promptly to active programs, beneficiaries, or operational costs.
  • By making a donation, the donor acknowledges and agrees to this Refund Policy.

3. Eligible Refund Requests

Refunds may be considered under the following circumstances:

3.1 Duplicate Transactions

If a donor has made an accidental duplicate payment.

3.2 Incorrect Donation Amount

If an incorrect amount was entered due to a technical or human error.

3.3 Unauthorized Transaction

If a donation was made fraudulently or without the donor’s authorization (subject to verification).

4. Refund Request Process

To request a refund, donors must:

  • Submit a written request via email within 7 calendar days of the transaction date
  • Provide:
    • Full name
    • Date of donation
    • Donation amount
    • Payment method
    • Transaction reference number
    • Reason for refund request

OCF reserves the right to request additional information for verification purposes.

5. Refund Approval and Processing

  • All refund requests are subject to internal review and approval.
  • Approved refunds will be processed using the original method of payment, where possible.
  • Refund processing may take 7–14 business days, depending on the payment provider or bank.

OCF reserves the right to decline refund requests that do not meet the criteria outlined in this policy.

6. Non-Refundable Donations

Refunds will generally not be issued in the following cases:

  • Donations designated and already disbursed to beneficiaries
  • Donations made more than 7 days prior to the refund request
  • Change of mind after making a donation
  • Donations made during emergency relief campaigns once funds have been allocated

7. Processing Fees

If applicable, transaction or processing fees charged by payment gateways or financial institutions may be deducted from the refunded amount.

8. Policy Updates

OCF reserves the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time. Updated versions will be published on the Foundation’s official website.
