Our Long-Term Support initiative assists individuals who require ongoing aid, including those who are terminally ill, elderly, or living with chronic physical disabilities. This program ensures they receive continuous care and resources to maintain their dignity and quality for the rest of their life.

History

The long-term program initiative started when COVID hit the whole world, and a lot of people, especially in low income countries like Pakistan, were rendered unemployed. What we saw was that a lot of wage earners of hard-working families were all of sudden unemployed. It significantly impacted people who were already at the lowest socio-economic level of society, like terminally ill, elderly, or living with chronic physical disabilities, devoid of both governmental and private support.

Our Waseela methodology acted as a bridge for this segment of society, where the members of our organizations acted as referrals to the people in their circle who were faced with these dire circumstances.

We developed policies and procedures to help get these needed people to assess and evaluate so that we can register and help with their sustenance.
